His name kept popping up for me, ever since I started the project: Beezy Bailey (one of S. Africa’s most established contemporary artists). Maybe he’d be interested in my project somehow, in one way or another…
He’d always been on the back of my mind.
I’d recently seen a picture of him, in an article regarding an international show he’d been involved with.
Finally, after months – 9 months or so?
I decided to e-mail a friend, & ask if she had his contact info, as I couldn’t find it on-line.
Without any time to get a response from her, that same morning I was out & about Kalk Bay, walking home with my daughter, when this chap came a breezily strolling by, fresh out of his paint palatte – bright turquoise hat (I think?!), & definitely bright purple loafers.
“Are you Beezy Bailey?”.
Yes!
“My name is Kelly, babble, babble, babble”.
I have his e-mail. I have his phone #.
You just never know, but synchronicity is pretty cool!u
